Curb, gutter work begins on Carl Albert Parkway in McAlester

McAlester, Okla. — The City of McAlester started curb and gutter work on East Carl Albert Parkway on Wednesday.

The City said the work will take place between South Strong Boulevard and South 14th Street.

Crews will replace the section of curb where a turnaround was previously installed. The turn was originally made for emergency response vehicles when an emergency service facility was there. The facility is no longer there, and a turnaround is no longer needed.
