Edmond uses Smart Traffic System to reduce crashes despite growth

(KFOR) — If you drive in Edmond, you’ve probably heard or said, “Traffic is terrible!” The city says even with a booming population and more cars on the road, accidents have gone down. That’s thanks to Edmond’s Traffic Management Center.

“Edmond is one of the fastest growing cities in Oklahoma,” said Corson Smith, the senior transportation engineer for the city of Edmond.
