Eufaula voters will decide whether to approve a 15-year sales tax increase expected to generate $850,000 annually for street improvements, with a city assessment identifying 83% of streets in poor or very poor condition.

EUFAULA, Okla. -Voters in Eufaula will decide Nov. 3 whether to approve an additional 1% municipal sales tax to fund street improvements over 15 years.

According to city documents, the proposal would generate approximately $850,000 annually for road construction, reconstruction, resurfacing and related improvements.
