Federal grant awarded to Norman for Tecumseh Rd. rail crossing

NORMAN, Okla. (KFOR) – Norman drivers could eventually see relief at a busy rail crossing on Tecumseh Road following a $1.44 million federal grant awarded to the city.

According to the City of Norman, the funding will cover initial planning and engineering design to eliminate the at-grade railway crossing where Tecumseh Road (U.S. 77) intersects the BNSF Railway tracks between Wellsite Drive and Macdonnell Drive.
