Highway 169 roadwork in Owasso enters final stretch

102.5 KRMG by Ben Morgan

August 6, 2026

The Oklahoma Department of Transportation is entering the final stretch of its U.S. 169 widening project, with a series of carefully timed closures and paving work scheduled between August 5 and 11.

Crews will temporarily close southbound ramps at 86th Street and 76th Street, shift traffic lanes, and remove remaining barriers to prepare for asphalt paving.

These changes will occur mostly at night to minimize disruption, while daytime work will focus on laying new pavement across the southbound lanes. View the full article: KRMG.com
