Highway 75 bridge project on hold due to eagle's nest

JENKS, Okla. — A bridge project on Highway 75 near Jenks is set to resume on Jan. 19 after being placed on hold due to an eagle's nest found in the area.

On Thursday, The Oklahoma Department of Transportation (ODOT) said it began working with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife service to find a resolution after the nest was found in the construction area near Polecat Bridge, just north of the Creek Turnpike.

On Friday, ODOT announced they've come to a resolution and said construction is set to resume in the area on Jan. 19.
