TULSA, Okla. (KTUL) — Highway 412 is in the planning stage of being upgraded to an interstate.
Significant changes like this can irritate drivers, but the Oklahoma Department of Transportation says there are benefits to this improvement.
ODOT is working with the Arkansas Department of Transportation to prepare U.S. 412 for a major improvement.
"We're looking at the US 412 corridor between I-35, in Oklahoma, and then all the way extending into Arkansas over to I-49," said TJ Gerlach, a UDOT Spokesperson.
