Southbound Interstate 35 in Norman is to be narrowed to one lane through Tuesday for surfacing work, restricting southbound traffic, according to a release from the Oklahoma Department of Transportation.
Between State Highway 9 and State Highway 74, the interstate will have only one lane open through 6 a.m. Saturday and again from 9 p.m. Sunday to 6 a.m. Tuesday for surface work, the release said.
No ramp closures are anticipated during this time, but motorists are urged to use caution in the area.
State Highway 9 West will remain narrowed at I-35 in Norman through 2026. SH-9W will remain narrowed to one lane in each direction at I-35 near Goldsby through 2026 as part of an ongoing interchange construction project. View the full article: Normantranscript.com
