I-35 narrows south of US-60 near Tonkawa for bridge repairs

This project is weather permitting:

Northbound and southbound I-35 is narrowed to one lane at North Ave. one mile south of US-60 (mm 214) near Tonkawa through 6 p.m. Friday for bridge repairs. Motorists are advised to expect delays and congestion and to plan additional travel time in the area. Motorists also should be aware of an additional work zone in this area with northbound and southbound I-35 narrowed to one lane in each direction and lanes shifted between North Ave. and W. Coleman Rd. just south of SH-11 near Blackwell for an ongoing bridge reconstruction project. This project is expected to complete in fall 2023, weather permitting.
