I-40 ramps close at Douglas Blvd., lanes shift at Post Rd. Thursday through Spring 2024

The westbound I-40 on- and off-ramps at Douglas Blvd. will be closed, and westbound I-40 lanes will be shifted between Post Rd. and Industrial Blvd. beginning at 7 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 10, through Spring 2024. Traffic will remain two lanes in each direction. Drivers will be able to use the westbound I-40 on- and off-ramp at Industrial Blvd. Please note, there will be new traffic signals in place at the Industrial Blvd. intersection. This closure is part of a two-year highway interchange reconstruction and 6-mile interstate widening project. Drivers are urged to use extra caution in the area and expect delays.
