I-40 reopened in Midwest City after concrete falls from bridge

Emergency repairs closed two inside westbound lanes near Southeast 29th Street, causing delays for Oklahoma City-area drivers.

OKLAHOMA CITY - UPDATE: All lanes of westbound I-40 are now open, according to authorities.

Westbound Interstate 40 in Midwest City was narrowed Tuesday afternoon after concrete fell from a bridge onto the roadway, prompting emergency repairs, according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.

Oklahoma Highway Patrol troopers blocked the two inside lanes of westbound I-40 at Southeast 29th Street at 2:13 p.m. after concrete was reported falling on the roadway below. View the full article: News9.com
