I-40 to close near El Reno for bridge demolition

EL RENO, Okla. (KOKH) — Officials with the Oklahoma Department of Transportation are warning drivers near El Reno that they may need to find another way to their destination, beginning next week.

ODOT announced that all lanes of east and westbound I-40 will be closed at US-281 Spur from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m., beginning Monday.

The US-281 Spur bridge will also be closed during that timeframe.
