TULSA, Okla. — The Indian Nations Council of Governments is launching its Congestion Management Process Plan to examine traffic patterns in the Tulsa INCOG region and develop strategies to improve mobility for residents, businesses and emergency services.

The plan, which is required under federal transportation law for urbanized areas with populations exceeding 200,000, aims to develop solutions to reduce traffic congestion and improve roadway safety.

INCOG is encouraging residents to take part in an online survey that includes an interactive map, which allows people to point out specific areas where they see frequent traffic congestion. INCOG also plans to engage community members through various events across the Tulsa area during this process.
