INFRASTRUCTURE UPGRADES UNDERWAY IN LAWTON WITH 51ST STREET AND CACHE ROAD BRIDGE PROJECTS PROMISING SAFER COMMUTE

Construction is currently reshaping the landscape of 51st Street, south of Gore Boulevard, where MTZ Construction is implementing significant enhancements as part of the Ad Valorem Streets and Roads Program, according to official sources as per the City of Lawton website.

Having kicked off about two weeks ago, the project is on a tight schedule to wrap up within the next six to eight weeks, weather permitting.

In addition to repaving, the overhaul includes a critical update to underground services, specifically the replacement of sewer and water lines intended to bolster the city's infrastructure.
