OKLAHOMA CITY — Lane closures in downtown Oklahoma City begin Friday as the city moves forward with utility work for the new Thunder arena, Continental Coliseum.
The closures will narrow parts of E.K. Gaylord Boulevard between Sheridan and Reno avenues, as well as northbound lanes past Reno Avenue, and are expected to last for two weeks.
The city said the lane closures are necessary as crews continue work on the future home of the Oklahoma City Thunder.
