May 30, 2023 OKLAHOMA CITY —Major construction began on Monday in the Paseo District to enhance pedestrians’ experience when they eat, shop and explore the many businesses. They said the project will give the Paseo District a much-needed makeover. On Monday, crews were busy at work getting started on the reconstruction. They said the project will make the district more inviting and safer for those who come to work or explore the area. As part of the Better Streets, Safer City sales tax program, reconstructing and enhancing districts in the city is for everyone’s safety.
