SWODA: $30,000 grant will help certain Stephens County residents travel

Certain eligible individuals in Stephens County will soon have access to mileage reimbursement when they travel for essential services.

According to The South Western Oklahoma Development Authority and the Southwest Oklahoma Regional Transportation Planning Organization, a grant of $30,000 will soon help residents in Caddo, Kiowa and Stephens counties get to the places they need to go.

The funding comes as a grant through the Carolyn Watson Rural Oklahoma Community Foundation Fund at the Oklahoma City Community Foundation.
