Motorists will no longer stop to pay cash on Indian Nation

McAlester News-Capital

Submitted by Oklahoma Turnpike Authority Aug 28, 2024

Indian Nation Turnpike cashless tolling began this week and motorists will no longer stop to pay cash at two out of the three main toll booths.

The first phase of the Oklahoma Turnpike Authority’s cashless conversion of the State Highway 375/Indian Nation Turnpike in Southeastern Oklahoma was scheduled for mid-day Wednesday, Aug. 28, 2024.

Motorists can expect to keep rolling with cashless tolling at booths south of Henryetta and near Antlers, including the SH-9 and US-270 on- and off-ramps. The McAlester mainline tolling collection point is expected to convert to cashless tolling by early November to allow for the final installation of new tolling equipment.
