New traffic signal installation impacts morning commuters in North Tulsa

TULSA, Okla. (KTUL) — Crews will begin installing the new traffic signal on Tuesday, June 4, at the intersection of Peoria Ave. and Reading St, right near Oasis Market.

With school out, hopefully, there will be less early morning traffic than normal, but drivers in the area should expect traffic impacts with minor delays possible during the installation.

The City of Tulsa says “the new traffic signal aims to improve safety and traffic flow at the intersection.”
