The Oklahoma Department of Transportation is planning repairs for two bridges in Norman using funds from the federal Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act.
The bridges are located at Willow Grove Drive and on Indian Hills Road near the Belmar Golf Club.
The funding is part of a program focused on repairing structurally deficient bridges, according to the City of Norman.
Oklahoma’s Bridge Formula Program, part of the federal Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act, will fund repairs for two bridges in Norman: Bridge Number 14930 on Willow Grove Drive and Bridge Number 19418 on Indian Hills Road.
The projects are scheduled to go out for bid in September. The repairs are "100 percent federally funded and do not require a match from the municipality," and all work will be done within the existing right of way.
