Norman Drivers Urged to Prepare for Street Closures and Detours Starting May 27 on Berry Road for Construction

Starting tomorrow, drivers navigating through Norman will need to plan for extra travel time as construction kicks off on Berry Road.

Ellsworth Construction, LLC, a contractor for the City of Norman, will tackle select concrete panel replacement between Main Street and Robinson Street, resulting in rolling closures of the northbound lane.

The city has outlined detour routes to guide travelers around the disruption, and signage will be in place to assist in redirecting traffic.

As reported by the City of Norman's official website, the construction project is a part of the Street Maintenance Bond Urban Concrete Pavement Project, aiming to improve the infrastructure for the long term.
