Two new Oklahoma Department of Transportation division leaders were announced at the May meeting of the Oklahoma Transportation Commission. Brad Smith was announced as the new head of the Purchasing Division and Jeff King as the new Chief of Surveys for the department. An Oklahoma City native, Smith is a Certified Procurement Officer who began his career with ODOT in 2000 in the Information Technology Division. Prior to this position, Smith spent seven years in the engineering consultant industry. Smith is a member of the Oklahoma Association of Public Procurement and NIGP, The Institute for Public Procurement. He and his wife, Jessica, and their two children currently live in Mustang.
