ODOT approves $13.7 million to rehab 428 state bridges

OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. (KOKH) — The Oklahoma State Department of Transportation Commission approved a $13.7 million investment in more than 400 "structurally deficient" bridges.

The Commission approved the investment during Monday's meeting.

The 428 off-system bridges were determined to be structurally deficient following field assessments.

According to the Oklahoma Bridges and Highway Report, bridges are assessed through a zero to nine ranking system with nine being the best ranking a bridge can receive.
