ROGERS COUNTY, Okla. − The Oklahoma Department of Transportation (ODOT) said it's carrying out a study into the speed limit on a new section of highway in Rogers County.

State Highway 20 through Keetonville Hill, near Claremore, opened back in September 2022. But at 45 mph, some people say the speed limit through the area is too slow.

The new four lane highway is around four miles long. ODOT said they built it to make the road safer.

ODOT spokesperson T.J. Gerlach said the speed limit is 45 because of the design of the road. View the full article: FOX23.com
