OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. (KOKH) — The Oklahoma Department of Transportation (ODOT) updated commuters on several construction projects set to start Tuesday morning.

Starting Tuesday, March 3, eastbound and westbound State Highway 9 will narrow to one lane in each direction from S. Jenkins Ave. to 12th Ave. SE in Norman from 8 a.m. to noon Tuesday for surface work according to ODOT.

The eastbound and westbound lanes of SE-9Ewill be narrowed to one lane just west of US 77 off and on through early 2026 over Bishop Creek in Norman for bridge replacement. ODOT said crews will work to limit closures, but drivers should plan and be ready for added travel time.
