TULSA, Okla - An interchange improvement project is in the works for Highway 412 between Catoosa and Inola.

The Oklahoma Department of Transportation is planning to reconstruct Highway 412 at 4170 Road to include new highway bridges over the road, with on and off-ramps for the highway.

It says Highway 412 will stay open during construction, shifting to one side of the highway while crews work on the opposite side. 4170 Road would close during construction.

Safety Concerns

ODOT says the intersection is a safety concern because the left turn lanes on the highway don’t have enough space for vehicles to speed up or slow down.
