ODOT seeks public input for construction project on dangerous stretch of I-35

MCCLAIN COUNTY, Okla. - The Oklahoma Department of Transportation is planning construction to improve a dangerous stretch of Interstate 35 between Purcell and Goldsby in McClain County, which has been the site of devastating crashes for years.

ODOT says the current highway cannot handle the amount of traffic, and the plan includes adding a lane in each direction, widening the shoulders and installing a barrier along the 2.5-mile stretch.
