CHEROKEE COUTY, Okla. -

The Oklahoma Department of Transportation (ODOT) is warning people about a scam that is going around.

ODOT says the scam involves an email that is addressed to Cherokee County residents telling them that they have a moving violation in a work zone at the junction of U.S. Highway 62 and State Highway 82.
