OKC has so far remained silent on crumbling downtown sidewalks and broken lights

Downtown OKC Partnership, the organization that runs the business improvement district tasked with keeping downtown clean, has a truck with a water tank and sprayer. 

The equipment is used to clean downtown sidewalks. It could also clean off the dirt and mud from 1970s-era globe lights that no longer work along Main Street. 

Jennifer Nakayama admits the job of cleaning the light globes wouldn’t take that long, and if they were put up as part of the Project 180 downtown improvements, her crews would get them cleaned up without delay.
