OKC warns of scam involving traffic citations

OKLAHOMA CITY (KOKH) — Oklahoma City is warning the community about an ongoing spoofing scam in which residents are receiving text messages stating they need to pay a traffic violation or are at risk of losing their license.

If residents did not opt in to receive court information by text, the message may be fraudulent.
