Oklahoma ranks 5th in the nation in the number of people who die in crashes with semitrailers

A new report that was recently released says that more people die in collisions with semitrailers in Oklahoma than almost anywhere else. Oklahoma is ranked 5th on the list.

Research shows that there has been significant growth of freight travel across the U.S. and the 5th place ranking for Oklahoma says that 115 people were killed every year from 2017-2021 in crashes.
