Parsons Secures Major Oklahoma Bridge Design Contract

Engineering firm's shares rise on $409 million project win to replace aging regional connector

Parsons, a leading engineering and infrastructure design firm, has been selected by the Oklahoma Department of Transportation to serve as the lead designer on a major bridge replacement project over Lake Texoma. The two-mile-long bridge structure will replace the aging Roosevelt Bridge, a key regional connector originally built in 1945. The $409 million project is supported by a $124 million federal grant and state funding to improve long-term safety and reliability.
