However, the construction comes with a cost. The city plans to build a pedestrian bridge to connect different developments, but first, they’ll have to drain part of the Oklahoma River to make it possible. "It’s certainly inconvenient and will be a challenge, but we also know it’s in the name of progress," said Mike Knopp, executive director of Riversport.
