Report: Oklahoma City drivers losing $2,571 annually due to road conditions

OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) — Would you believe that the average Oklahoma City driver loses over a couple thousand dollars per year due to driving on roads that are rough, congested, and even lack some safety features? A recent report from a transportation research organization says it’s true.

The exact amount, per the report that looked into state and local road conditions, that an Oklahoma City driver is losing specifically is $2,571.

“That’s the challenge for transportation agencies, is trying to stay ahead of these challenges,” Director of Policy & Research at TRIP Rocky Moretti said.
