Residents’ feedback encouraged for Oklahoma Encompass 2050 transportation plan

OKLAHOMA CITY -The Association of Central Oklahoma Governments is asking for residents’ help with its new plan for transportation around the metro. The plan is called Encompass 2050.

Deputy Director John Sharp joins News 9 to discuss potential options.

What is Encompass 2050?

Sharp: Every five years the metro area has to do a new transportation plan for the region, and we’re looking out to 2050, so we’re looking quite a ways over the horizon. But one of the issues we have here is how we want to grow in the future in order to be able to move around.
