Motorists traveling on U.S. 77 Highway between Arkansas City and Newkirk, Okla., can expect to experience delays for several months.

Bryce Boyer of the Oklahoma Department of Transportation said the stretch of highway from Home Road, just north of Newkirk, north to the

Oklahoma-Kansas state line is being resurfaced with a completion date of mid-October. That section of the highway runs by the 7 Clans and Native Lights casinos.
