April 19, 2022 Now through early summer, an ongoing resurfacing project along US-177 in Shawnee will impact motorists. Drivers can expect lane shifts and a reduced speed limit at the intersection of US-177 and SH-270/Westech Rd. between Dale and Shawnee in Pottawatomie County as part of a resurfacing project that continues through early summer 2022. US-177 will be narrowed to one lane in each direction between I-40 and SH-270/Westech Rd. daily through much of the project for paving operations. The eastbound I-40 on- and off-ramps at US-177 will also be intermittently closed later in the project. These closures will be announced as the work is scheduled.
