TULSA, Okla. (KTUL) — Drivers in midtown Tulsa can expect months of traffic changes as work begins on a major road rehabilitation project along South Harvard Avenue.

City crews have started construction on South Harvard Avenue between East 21st Street and East 31st Street, a busy corridor with thousands of drivers passing through daily and numerous local businesses along the route. The project includes removing the old road surface, patching areas underneath and repaving with new asphalt. Sidewalks and curbs will be upgraded, and traffic signals in the area will also be improved.
