Rogers county road work continues

Several road projects are ongoing or have been recently completed across all three Rogers County districts.

In District 1, led by commissioner Dan DeLozier, a bridge project is under construction on 4310 Road after pipes were washed out due to recent flooding.

"The flood we had washed quite a few pipes up," DeLozier said.

A 12-mile chip and seal project is underway in District 1, as well as brush clearing from the side of roads. A building demolition and parking lot striping were completed at Sequoyah Public Schools.
