Jul. 13—Orange cones and one-lane roads are popping up throughout Claremore as another road construction project starts on State Highway 88.
Eastbound and westbound lanes on SH-88 are narrowed from the State Highway 20 junction and will continue north seven miles.
"Right now traffic is being funneled through areas of the work zone in a narrowed configuration with a temporary traffic signal," said Oklahoma Department of Transportation Public Information Officer Kenna Mitchell. "The light cycle allows about 10-12 cars through the work zone at a time.
