State Highway 51 to be narrowed for shoulder reconstruction

Starting Sunday, State Highway 51 in Broken Arrow will be narrowed to one lane in each direction.

The center turn lane will remain open at 91st Street.

The City of Broken Arrow said the closure is necessary for the Oklahoma Department of Transportation's contractor to repairs the shoulders near the intersection.

Reconstruction is expected to be completed for a full reopen Monday evening.
