Sunset Boulevard in Bartlesville to close due to bridge construction, plans to reopen in July

BARTLESVILLE, Okla. — Beginning Monday, Jan. 12, Sunset Boulevard will be closed until July due to construction on the bridge over Butler Creek. 

Construction for the $2.1 million project is set to begin Monday for the Sunset Boulevard Bridge and will be carried out by Bright Light Construction.

Areas of focus for construction include the bridge deck and improvements to the guardrail. A pedestrian bridge will also be built over Butler Creek as part of the Pathfinder Parkway.
