TULSA ROADWORK ALERT, MAJOR HIGHWAY CONSTRUCTION TO DISRUPT TRAFFIC THROUGH 2028

Tulsa drivers will experience lane closures and traffic changes due to ongoing highway construction projects.

The right lane of eastbound I-44 at 49th W. Avenue will be closed from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Tuesday for surface repairs, according to the Oklahoma Department of Transportation.

US-75 and the I-244 ramp to 1st Street will be reduced to one lane daily from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. through on Friday as part of ongoing work.

Eastbound I-244 near the US-75 junction will remain limited to one lane through summer 2025 for bridge repairs.

The I-44/US-75 interchange improvement project will continue through summer 2028.
