Water main break impacts traffic at NW 39th and MacArthur

Oklahoma City Utilities crews are working on a 12-inch water main break on MacArthur Avenue at Northwest 39th Street. Southbound traffic on MacArthur is limited to turning east or west only onto 39th Street. Drivers who need to go south on MacArthur at 39th will need to detour.

Customers in the area are expected to experience a temporary disruption to water service, but crews are working to minimize the impact.

Officials anticipate repair work being completed by 6 p.m. Lane closures will remain in place until repairs are finished.
