Woodstock Leaders OK Contract for Neese Road Project

Woodstock leaders have approved a $3.6 million contract for construction on Neese Road. On Nov. 13, the Woodstock City Council awarded a $3,689,803 contract to Summit Construction & Development for the southern segment of the Neese Road Improvements Project. This project consists of widening and other improvements on Neese Road from Brentwood Lane to Washington Avenue. According to the city, the project includes the creation of the Neese Road Trail on the western side of Neese Road, left turn lanes to turn onto Middleton Pass and Stations Drive, and curvature and elevation improvements between Grand Oaks Drive and Middleton Pass.
