Senator Frix secures $800K grant to revamp six miles of East Smith Ferry Road in Muskogee

MUSKOGEE, OKLA. (KTUL) — A significant infrastructure project in Muskogee County is set to proceed following the acquisition of an $800,000 Lake Access Grant by Senator Avery Frix, R-Muskogee.

The grant will fund the reconstruction of approximately six miles of East Smith Ferry Road, from South Country Club Road to the 85th Street entrance of Hopewell Park.

The Oklahoma Department of Transportation's Lake Access Program aims to enhance access to public facilities near lakes and recreational areas.
