November 05, 2025

The Oklahoma Department of Transportation announced that eastbound SH-9W near Goldsby will be reduced to a single lane through October next year as part of an interchange construction project. Additional lane and ramp closures are expected through November, with detours available via US-77 and I-44, as outlined in their latest traffic advisory.

US-77/Tecumseh Road will be reduced to one lane in each direction between Flood Avenue and 12th Avenue during evening and early morning hours as resurfacing work continues through mid-November. Nightly lane closures are expected along other sections of US-77 as part of ongoing improvements. The project is scheduled to extend into 2026 to enhance roadway safety and improve traffic flow in the Norman area, according to OKDOT’s traffic advisory. View the full article: Hoodline.com
