Plans progress for Roosevelt Bridge replacement

MARSHALL COUNTY, Okla. (KTEN) — From fishng boats below to road trips above, the Roosevelt Bridge has seen it all.

But after 80 years, it's time to replace the vital thoroughfare linking Bryan and Marshall counties with a bridge that meets today's standards and tomorrow's needs.

"It's in critical shape," said Marshall County District 3 Commissioner Chris Duroy. "The one there now is structurally deficient; once they get structurally deficient, then that means they're on the time clock to be replaced."
