Westbound I-40 reduced to one lane near Midwest City starting Friday

MIDWEST CITY, Okla. (KFOR) — I-40 will be narrowed to one lane at Choctaw Road and Douglas Boulevard through the weekend, starting on Friday.

The westbound lane of I-40 will be narrowed to just one lane between Choctaw Road and Douglas Boulevard near Midwest City, starting at 5 p.m. on Friday until 6 a.m. on Monday, as crews work to “complete critical steps for the final configuration of the bridge and interchange reconstruction project,” according to the Oklahoma Department of Transportation.
