Progress continues on the bridge replacement project along Southwest 11th Street, where crews are hard at work improving one of Lawton’s key transportation routes. The project, managed by Sewell Brothers, Inc., is moving steadily toward its completion date of February 2026, and will replace two aging bridge structures to enhance safety and traffic flow for residents.

Recently, crews completed the rerouting of the main water line that feeds into Geronimo, a major milestone in keeping nearby infrastructure running smoothly while construction continues. At present, teams are working on the installation of an RCB (Reinforced Concrete Box) Culvert, a crucial component that will strengthen water flow management and long-term roadway stability.
